About this map:

A look at some postcodes in the BT34 area as indicated by coordinates from http://www.uk-postcodes.com. This is Newry. "BT" stands for Belfast. Two characters which might be described as either useless or redundant when used as a part of the address. But more importantly it appears to confound the champions of UK postcodes and their myths of a code that is streetwise and logical to the point of designing routes. These codes are patently incapable of making any sensible routing decisions without recourse to a database or local knowledge.
