ikiMap, share your maps

This is the welcome page of ikiMap, you may access to the most recent, the best rated and the most visited ikiMaps:

• User menu, from which you can easily access our tools and search items.

• List of maps and ikiMaps organised by categories.

• Random map or ikiMap.

The search page allows us to locate ikiMaps, maps, channels or users.

It is as simple as writing the text you would like to search for and you will obtain a list of results. Results can be sorted by name, number of visits or upload date.

From here you can upload your own maps. In order to do so, you should fill in the upload form:

• Name you would like to give to your map

• Tags of the map.

• File you would like to upload (currently supported formats by ikiMap are KML, KMZ and GPX)

Once you have filled in the data and accepted the terms of use, your map may be uploaded to ikiMap

This page allows you to view all the details of the maps and ikiMaps:

• Description, tags and privacy of the map.

• Applied format: colours,line thickness, icon type, etc.

• Chosen cartographic background.

• Access to Full screen mode.

• Vote, download in KML format or share maps and ikiMaps in your favorite websites (Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, Digg…).

• View or add comments.

For your own maps you may edit its attributes and styles applied. Whenever you are exploring an ikiMap you can also view the maps included in it.

The user account centralises all items and activities of each ikiMap user.
